Denavolo 2019 Malvasia White
From Giulio Armani, the longtime winemaker at La Stoppa in Emilia-Romagna, who also makes wines under his own label Denavolo. Dinavolino is made with Marsanne, Malvasia Aromatica, Ortugo and other indigenous varieties. The grapes are vinified with about four months of skin maceration. Just a small dose of sulfites is added. This has stunning complexity and depth. Very fruity, floral, young wine, pleasant to dring young with a potential to age for a few years. Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo, Marsanne, and one old grape very local.
